Ina Garten is known as a well-known American writer of cook books for a number of years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina started her career at the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy and also the budget. Although she found her job to be stimulating intellectually, eventually she lost her interest in it and bought a tiny specialty food store - Barefoot Contessa. After nearly 18 years of making the business a massive success, she sold it, and then began creating her first novel. In the following years, numerous cookbooks were published, and she also wrote columns for magazines. Meanwhile, her Food Network television show too began its run and was an instant hit. Also, Ina sells products that range from food items to storage containers and tools. Ina herself, a self-taught chef she has never attended the culinary institute or at an establishment. She is an easy cook, and also for her entertaining style. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet Lemon Chicken roasted by Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon.
