Annie Mist Thorisdottir, an experienced professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She is also a coach and trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is co-owner. Annie is the first female to be crowned the winner of the CrossFit Games twice. She won the CrossFit Games in 2010 and finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion, and a popular media figure. Her fame was boosted by her being the first female to win taken home twice at the CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 She is also known as having been the winner of the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie was brought up by her parents at Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and worked out from the age of five. In 2009, she was the first participant in the CrossFit competitions in California where she was able to perform very well during the initial competitions. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 (by in 2021). Her height is around 5'7 and she weighs about 67 kgs. Annie began CrossFit back in California. At the beginning of her competition, she performed very well and placed in first 10 of the 70 competitors. She did not take home a title and finished with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second and took home an Olympic silver medal that same year. The following year she was a participant at CrossFit Games and won them due to her impressive performances. It was her first time as a woman ever to win CrossFit Games. Annie was the first woman to win in consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to the extraordinary performance. In 2014, she also received a gold medal. Then in 2021 she won with a bronze. Presently Annie is a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie's growing fame as an athlete has led her to become the spokesperson for many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration Sidekick Yerbae. The self-titled Youtube page is awash with over 1000 users, posting the videos of her family and trips along with training and diet plans.
