Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and is of Chinese heritage, yet her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from an American family. Olivia's parents divorced at the age of two. She was raised by her mother, who worked in the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. Although the family departed Oklahoma and lived in a variety of areas, she was raised within Tokyo, Japan. In the years that followed, she appeared in various local theater productions and later became a model in the Japanese fashion business.
